Kilo Code CLI Custom Model Configuration
Kilo CLI also reads kilo.jsonc, but it needs to read the Token from the shell that starts the CLI.
¶ Configuration
Write in ~/.config/kilo/kilo.jsonc:
{
"provider": {
"acedatacloud": {
"npm": "@ai-sdk/openai-compatible",
"options": {
"baseURL": "https://api.ai.moses.day/v1",
"apiKey": "{env:ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY}"
},
"models": { "MODEL_ID": { "name": "MODEL_ID" } }
}
},
"model": "acedatacloud/MODEL_ID"
}
Then export the Token in the current shell:
export ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY="PASTE_YOUR_ACEDATACLOUD_API_TOKEN_HERE"
¶ Verification
kilo run -m acedatacloud/MODEL_ID "Reply only OK"
If the CLI cannot read the Token, ensure the variable has been exported, and not just written into an unloaded .env file.
